Careem and InDriver are on-demand taxi services where a driver picks one passenger. HumRide is carpooling, a driver already going from A to B fills the empty seats with passengers heading the same way. Per-seat fares are typically lower, and you share the ride with one or two others on the route.
Every user, driver and passenger goes through a short video verification call with our admin team before their account is activated. We confirm identity, and for drivers we also check vehicle details. Every booking also has an in-app reliability score so repeat bad actors are filtered out.
Passengers pay the driver directly in cash at the per-seat fare shown when booking. Drivers maintain a small wallet on the platform from which we deduct our commission for each confirmed seat. No card or wallet linking is required for passengers.
You're notified immediately and your seat is freed up to search again. Drivers who cancel often lose reliability points, and once a score falls below a threshold the account is auto-blocked. Repeated unjustified cancellations result in permanent removal.
Yes — if the driver hasn't confirmed yet, cancellation is free. After confirmation, you can still cancel up to two hours before departure with no penalty. Cancellations after that cut into your reliability score.
Sign up as a driver, complete the video verification call with our team, and you'll be activated within 24 hours. After that you can set up your daily ride templates and start accepting passengers.
